BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are a vital component at If Not For Grace Ministries. We are blessed to have a team of volunteers who are committed to our vision and have a heart for helping others in need of restoration. These volunteers facilitate, coordinate, and represent the ministry in a variety of roles.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Write or assist writing a blog 2-3 times a year based upon relevant topics related to the ministry.

    Writing sample needed for this position.

  • Donate, create, or write cards for participant birthdays, donor appreciation, & participant invitations on a monthly basis.

  • Walk with a participant as they go through a Recovery Group. Provide encouragement, discuss scripture, lift up the participant in prayer, & provide any other spiritual support. This requires a 10-week commitment.

  • Be the point person to raise exposure at your church through flyers, INFG presence at events, and/or getting face time for an INFG representative with your pastor or other church leaders.

  • Search for events in or around our community, such as festivals & conferences, that the ministry could participate in with a booth & make the initial contact. Additionally, volunteer at some of these events.

  • Assist in the logistics & planning of major events throughout the year. Attend events and host a table, if possible/applicable.

  • Co-facilitate Bible studies. Be able to meet once a week in person or online for 5 to 8 weeks.

  • Help plan or organize fun events; trivia, bonfires, bingo etc. once every 3 months. Be able to attend these events, assist with preparation & clean up.

  • Support participants after they finish the Recovery Group by helping them get connected with their local church, praying for them, & encouraging them. Assist in the healing journey of participants beyond the recovery group.

  • Help organize office items, take inventory & assist with any other office tasks.

  • Be on our prayer team & pray consistently for the ministry. You may be contacted by the prayer team coordinator with specific requests.

  • Be willing to advocate, network & make connections in a variety of scenarios related to education and donor relations.

  • Assist with needs during the Reconciliation Weekend such as setting up, picking up items, facilitating sessions & more.

  • This is a 10-week commitment. Lead a Recovery Group with another facilitator or lead a participant 1 on 1.

  • Give information about the ministry & refer anyone you feel may benefit from our services. Make connections & volunteer with organizations that would have potential participants. In the same spirit, always look for advocates, donors, & volunteers of types within those same circles.

  • Consistently interact with Facebook and/or Instagram accounts by liking & sharing our posts or tagging INFG in relevant content. Consistently look for others to invite to be social media ambassadors.

  • Prayerfully & intentionally coordinate/perform music for the Reconciliation Weekend, working with the Reconciliation Weekend Coordinator to adapt to any script changes.
