Job Description: Executive Director

Vision: To enable abortion wounded women, men, and families to live authentic, abundant lives; mobilizing them for Kingdom expanding work

Mission: To provide opportunities for restoration to the abortion wounded

External Core Values: Authenticity, Pro-Grace and Restoration with a banner of hope and a foundation of prayer

Job Summary: Lead a team of staff and volunteers by hiring, motivating, training, directing and overseeing their activities

Experience

  • Leadership and managerial competencies applied in previous employment or volunteer work (non-profit, ministry or church preferred)

Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience

  • Donor development experience

  • Core Competencies: strategic mind (offers innovative plans, ideas, solutions), ability to delegate, organized, engaging speaker

  • Practices mindfulness specifically as it relates to maintaining the confidentiality of participants

  • Pro-life in belief and practice with a consistent life-affirming philosophy and a desire to reach and serve the abortion-wounded

  • Professing and practicing Christian, integrated into a local church body

Responsibilities
Honor, embrace and exemplify INFG’s Internal Core Values

  • Hire, motivate, train, direct, supervise, and evaluate staff

  • Effectively utilize individual and team meetings to assess projects and staff needs

  • Monitor staff compliance as it relates to policies, payroll hours, department budgets

  • Initiate and evaluate strategies that champion current and future donors

  • Macro and micro fundraising activities

  • Donor development

Co-facilitate monthly Board meetings as a non-voting member

  • Collaborate with President in composing agenda

  • Assist with development of annual budget and monthly review of P/L

  • Provide timely/relevant written and verbal reports

  • In the name of the corporation execute contracts and checks authorized by the Board

  • Exemplify the Pro-Grace attitude INFG seeks to develop in our families, churches, and communities

  • Increase awareness about the effects of abortion through pastor presentations, speaking engagements, one-on-one and small group discussions

  • Educate the public about INFG’s Mission, Vision, and Services

  • Expand resources and referral base by networking with local pastors and women’s ministry

  • leaders, counselors, directors of pregnancy resource centers, like-minded ministries, non-profits, and local businesses

  • Write relevant articles

  • Newsletters, multi-media posts, donor relations communications, year-end ministry reports

Reports To Board of Directors

Hours and Benefits

Exempt (not entitled to overtime pay); 32-40 hours a week (negotiated at time of hiring), 3 weeks paid time off; Paid Holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving); mileage at current government reimbursement rate for travel from office and return for official INFG business

Experience:

  • 4-year college degree; Business emphasis preferred

  • Non-profit background preferred
